Douce France, a French store in Toronto, wanted to create a comprehensive chocolate catalog to showcase their entire range of chocolates. The catalog needed to include short descriptions of the ingredients, indicate if chocolates were gluten-free, nut-free, or vegan, and provide definitions for types of chocolates like ganache and praline. Additionally, it needed to highlight specialty chocolates, box sizes, and various packaging options.

- Catalog Design To ensure the catalog was accessible and editable, I used Canva for the design. This allowed my boss to make changes if needed in my absence.
- Photography & Image Editing For chocolates not available on our supplier's website, I took high-quality photos myself. I used Photoshop to enhance the colorimetry of the images, ensuring the chocolates looked as delicious and inviting as possible.
- Online Integration Once the design was complete, I uploaded the catalog online and used the Publuu platform to generate a flip book. This flip book was then integrated into the store's website for easy access.
- Product Page Variants To enhance the customer experience further, I created a square version of the catalog design for each product page. This ensured customers could easily view the details of specific chocolates without navigating back to the full catalog.
The main challenge was to design a catalog that was clear and comprehensive for all customers while meeting a tight deadline.
The final deliverables included a visually stunning flip book for the entire chocolate catalog, as well as tailored images for each product page.
One interactive flip book and product-specific visuals integrated into the chocolate category and individual product pages.
This project showcased the importance of combining design with functionality to create a seamless customer experience.
