- Storyboarding & Writing I started by drafting a storyboard, outlining the key moments, and writing text for each slide to structure the storytelling.
- Character & Environment Design Next, I worked on the character design and the backgrounds to bring personality and atmosphere to the comic.
- Illustration & Final Composition I then illustrated each of the nine slides, ensuring the humor translated well through expressions, composition, and pacing.
I had never created a comic before, so the biggest challenge was mastering visual narration—finding the right balance between text and illustration to make the story flow naturally and stay engaging.
The final deliverable was a 9-slide comic designed for social media, capturing a funny and relatable moment in an engaging visual format.
This project allowed me to explore a new storytelling medium, helping me develop my skills in sequential art and visual humor.
Narration in comics is all about rhythm and clarity—experimenting with different layouts and expressions helped me create a more engaging and effective story.
