Adapting to the Environment To minimize noise, I decided to use my phone instead of my camera. This required adjusting my approach to ensure I could still take high-quality, professional-looking photos despite the limitations of mobile photography.
Capturing the Atmosphere I focused on a mix of close-ups to showcase individual expressions and wide shots to capture the overall crowd and energy. I paid special attention to diversity among participants, ensuring representation of different ethnicities, generations, and accessibility needs.
Working with Limited Equipment Using my phone required careful composition, steady hands, and strategic angles to maximize lighting and detail. I also had to move quietly and discreetly to avoid disrupting the peaceful environment.
Since sound disruptions were a concern, I needed a quiet way to capture high-quality images without disturbing the event.
Despite the limitations, I successfully captured a series of compelling images that conveyed the essence of the event.
A curated series of 20 high-quality images showcasing the event’s atmosphere, diversity, and engagement.
This project reinforced the importance of adaptability and problem-solving in photography.
